Middle School Program

Above: Sunset Middle school students attend a field trip to the California Science Center in Los Angeles.

Sunset's Middle School Program not only has some of the top
test scores in the Ventura Unified School District, but also has the lowest
Middle School teacher-to-student ratio in Ventura and Ojai.

It's that time of year again to choose which middle school
your Bobcat will attend next year.

We will be having a Middle School Information Night on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 6:00pm. Click the link to the right to see our Middle School Information flyer for more information.

Battle of the Books

The Sunset Battle team competed in the 2019 Battle of the Books that was held at Cabrillo Middle School this year. Each  VUSD middle school sends a team to the competition.  Students read 20 novels during the year and competed on their knowledge of the texts.  Sunset had team members on the top four finishing squads, and Isabella Coleman brought home the trophy!  Congratulations to our team for BEING AWESOME!!!
