Summer School Opportunities

Application Window

The 2025 Summer School & Extended School Year Certificated application window has closed.  Application DEADLINE was Monday, March 31, 2025.  

Since 2019, we have partnered with the organization Learn4Life (L4L) for most of our summer school programs. Learn4Life is a separate employer from VUSD. All classroom teaching assignments will be hired directly by L4L using their own hiring processes, teacher requirements, and offering a rate of pay of $77 per hour.  For questions regarding L4L, teaching assignments please email vusddelo@vrchs.school .

As in previous years, there are summer program certificated positions that are hired by VUSD. These VUSD hired positions are as follows: Intervention Teachers, Speech & Language Pathologists, Nurses, Counselors, and Administrators. The rate of pay for these VUSD hired positions, per the VUEA contract, will be 72% of the employee’s daily rate of their placement on the salary schedule.
