NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING SUFFICIENCY OF TEXTBOOKS OR INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS OR BOTH FOR THE 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR
Ventura Unified School District is holding a public hearing on September 23, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., at the Education Service Center Board Room, 255 W. Stanley Avenue, Suite 100, Ventura, CA, regarding the sufficiency of textbooks or instructional materials or both, for the 2025-26 school year, that are aligned to the content standards adopted by the state board as required by Education Code 60119. Notice of the public hearing was published in the Ventura County Star newspaper and posted in three public locations in the Ventura Unified School District.
Educational Services serves the curriculum, instruction, assessment, student support services, technology, parent training, bilingual and English language development needs of the Ventura Unified School District. The focus of the division is to ensure that every student has the opportunity and access to achieve academically, socially and emotionally in our district.
