Ventura Unified School District (VUSD) invites you to explore the many educational opportunities we offer at our Annual Information Night. We understand that choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, and we're here to help you find the perfect fit.
Join us on Tuesday, November 12, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Buena High School (5670 Telegraph Rd., Ventura), to discover what makes our schools exceptional. This event is open to all prospective and current students and families, providing valuable insights into our programs, services, and the vibrant learning environments we foster across VUSD.
During the event, we’ll host a series of informative workshops covering key topics, including:
- Fall 2025 Enrollment and the Schools of Choice Application Process
- TK/Kindergarten: What to Know
- Career & Technical Education Programs
- Transitioning from Private, Charter, or Homeschool to Public School
- VUSD Athletics
Our Schools of Choice Lottery Application support team will be available on-site to assist with any questions you have.
With more than 60 representatives from our schools and various VUSD departments, you’ll have the opportunity to speak directly with staff, ask questions, and explore the possibilities available for your child's education.
For your convenience, bus transportation will be provided from Sheridan Way Elementary and ATLAS TK-8. Buses will depart at 5 p.m. and return to these locations by 8 p.m. Additionally, food trucks will be on-site, and cafeteria seating will be available for families to enjoy a meal and relax. Spanish language and American Sign Language interpreters will be available for those who may require assistance.
