Measure E Projects

Measure E Current Projects- Projects that have begun on our campuses and are currently in progress.

• HVAC Installation
  • HVAC Installation Phase 2-Install new classroom HVAC at remaining Elementary Schools w/out AC. RFP was released to design consultants for bidding. Design consultant was chosen and together we will develop a master plan to schedule these projects. Once approved by DSA, we will schedule install with each site.
• Playgrounds
  • Playground Replacement Phase 2-Replace existing end-of-life playgrounds at remaining Elementary Schools. RFP was released to design consultants for bidding. Design consultant was chosen and together will develop a master plan to schedule these projects. We will schedule install with each site.
• Roofing Repairs
  • All roofs will be replaced as a district wide program. We will schedule roofing projects projecting over the next 5-7 years.
• Security
  • Security Cameras will be installed at remaining campuses with projected completion by the end of Summer 2026.
  • Installation of perimeter fencing at Anacapa Middle School and Cabrillo Middle School is under design.
• Solar
  • Solar panels are being installed at Anacapa, ATLAS, Balboa, Buena, Cabrillo, Citrus Glen, DATA, EP Foster, Elmhurst, Foothill, Juanamaria, Junipero Serra, Lemon Grove, Lincoln, Loma Vista, Montalvo, Mound, Pacific, Poinsettia, Portola, Sheridan Way, Sunset, Ventura Adult and Continuing Education, and Will Rogers.
  • Ventura High School solar panels are under engineering design and review with a projected installation in 2026.

• Sports Facilities Upgrades
  • Ventura High School and Buena High School installation of new Track and Field surfacing.

  • New HVAC systems have been installed at the following sites: Elmhurst, Montalvo, Mound and ATLAS
     
• Security Cameras
  • 539 security cameras have been installed at 14 campuses. Foothill High School, DATA Middle School, Sunset K_8, EP Foster, Anacapa Middle School, Loma Vista, Buena High School, Ventura High School, Cabrillo Middle School, Balboa Middle School, Sheridan Way, Will Rogers, Pierpont, ATLAS K-8, Junipero Serra, Citrus Glen, Pacific High School, Lemon Grove, and Adult Ed. 
     
• Roofing
  • Roofing has been completed at the following sites: Elmhurst, Juanamaria, Montalvo, Lemon Grove, DATA, Poinsettia, Pierpont, and Cabrillo.

• LED Lighting
  • LED Lighting has been upgraded at the following sites: Ventura High School, Balboa Middle School, Foothill Tech High School, Will Rogers, DATA Middle School, Pacific High School, Loma Vista, El Camino High School, Homestead, Buena High School

• Sports Facilities Upgrades
  • LED Stadium Lighting upgrades at both Buena High School and Ventura High School
  • Ventura High School JV Softball Site Improvements. 
  • Install new structural cross bracing at Ventura HS at existing shop building.  
  • Buena High School Scoreboard and Stadium  Lighting Upgrades.
  • Ventura High School Scoreboard and Stadium Lighting Upgrade.
  • Ventura High School Varsity Softball Upgrades: New dugouts, irrigation, bleachers, & fencing.
     
• Other Projects
  • Convert Rooms 2 & 3 at ATLAS School for incoming 8th grade class.

  • Ventura High School - DSA Remediation
