Fall 2020 Opening Information

On Friday, July 17, with all of the facts, models, and input provided to them, the Ventura Unified School District Board of Education voted 5-0 to move the District to a distance-learning model for the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year. This would potentially allow the District to develop a model to bring students physically back to campuses in January 2021; however, we will follow all state and local guidelines in doing so. The Board does reserve the right to make a change to this decision if there is a dramatic turn of events that would allow students to physically return to our campuses safely. We will begin providing distance learning on our regularly scheduled opening date, Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
