The Sheridan Way Family Center was established to provide access to health, social services, family support, and educational support to families in the neighborhood of West Ventura for the goals of improving school success and strengthening families.  With the support of First 5 funding, early learning activities, family support and access to health services for children ages birth through five have been added to increase the school readiness of young children.

Since parents are the child's first teachers and parent engagement is critical for the child's on-going success in school, our goal is to support parents and provide learning opportunities for all during the child's early developmental years and school years.
