Tender Cradle - Ages 0-24 months.  These classes are for parents and their babies - newborn through age 2.  We meet consistently during the school year and cover a wide variety of topics and events that are of interest to parents of little ones in this age group.  Different professionals rotate through classes offering expertise in infant massage, attachment parenting, music, nutrition, developmental check-ups, age appropriate play and language development.  In addition to having fun with their babies parents have the opportunity to meet other parents for friendship and support.

Playful Moments/PAL (Services United/VACE) Ages Ages 12-24 mos.  For one- and two-year olds, playing is learning.  Having their parents play with them and participate in their learning is crucial for these little ones.  These classes allow parents and their one- and two-year old children to experience all the delights of play together while developing motor skills, self-help, and awareness.  This reinforces attachment parenting, where the child will begin to feel the comfort and security to try new things with the approval, encouragement, and support of the parent.  Pre-literacy is the key to this program, with story time, music, art, drama, games, and physical activities designed to build vocabulary and language use.
