School Bus Registration
It is the policy of the Ventura Unified School District that all students planning to ride the bus to and/or from school must be registered. Once registered at school your student is registered for transportation if they live beyond the minimum walking distance for their grade level. Students eligibility is determined by the students home address that is provided at time the student is registered for school. If a students parents/guardians have joint custody the second residence and parent/guardian must be listed on the students emergency information card at their assigned school.

Transportation to Day Care Providers

The School Bus Driver will have a list of eligible riders for their route. If the student is not on the list the driver will issue a bus conduct report to parents and transport the student to school. If the student is not eligible the student will no longer be transported to school unless they apply and are approved.
