Clean Air School Bus Programs

The Ventura Unified School District is committed to providing a safe environment for it's students. The Transportation Services Department has utilized alternative fueled vehicles, advanced technology and particular matter traps in its fleet of school buses. Forty-seven (47) percent of the school district school bus fleet utilizes some type of fuel or technology that reduces toxic emissions. These vehicles have been in service since 1990.
