The primary goal of an effective school health program is to ensure that every school age child is ready to learn with her/his basic needs met so that s/he may experience success in education, thus enabling her/him full participation in society.
The second goal is to promote wellness through :
screening children for common health concerns disease control and prevention emergency care of illness and injury monitoring health conditions accessing necessary health care follow-up with health careThe third goal is to improve children's lives by:
