Homework:

Expect daily homework in math and language arts.  In addition, students are expected to read at home for 20-30 minutes per day, including weekends.

Check the blue assignment sheet for homework for all classes as well as teacher communication.  Please tally up the reading minutes and sign the sheet next to the reading minutes total.  (For my class, this total does not need to be in increments of 100.)  Students should turn in signed assignment sheets each Monday.  Late assignment sheets will be accepted.

Late Homework:  If your child forgot to take home his homework, or if she lost or ruined it, please consider calling a classmate to get the assignment via email.  If that is not possible, then have your child either practice multiplication facts (if needed) or complete some problems that you make up, and send a note to school with him.  If there is a family event, please send a note as well.  Otherwise, students will complete late homework during the morning recess.
