Register

Enrollment at ECHS averages around 300 students grades 9 through 12, with graduating classes averaging 100 students. Enrollment is voluntary and criteria for acceptance into the program includes: reading scores, math scores, past academic history, attendance, and perceptions of parent, student, teachers, and counselor of an individual’s ability to work independently.

El Camino Students:

• Must meet certain entrance criteria
• Are teamed with an experienced, fully credentialed teacher
• Must complete 25-30 hours of written homework each week
• Must score 70% on each test to receive credit
• Must use good time management skills
• Participate in state testing

El Camino has open enrollment throughout the school year. Parents of high school students who would like to request a transfer should call the El Camino Office to schedule an appointment (805)289-7955. Students who attend Ventura Unified School District High Schools can also contact their boundary school guidance counselor for transfer information.

Parents and students who would like a tour of the campus and /or would like to arrange an informational meeting can phone for an appointment.
