This includes acquiring basic computer skills and expertise in applications, as well as attaining information literacy, and practicing Internet safety and electronic collaboration. </div> <div> To achieve those goals, sixth grade students entering De Anza Academy of Technology and the Arts in the 2010-11 school year will experience a 1:1 computer ratio in their classes, giving them an opportunity to utilize technology in every aspect of their daily learning. Computer skills and applications will be infused into the curriculum through everyday lessons and in-depth projects.
