Citrus Glen's annual Science Fair has been scheduled for Thursday, March 24, 2011. All students, K-5, are invited to enter projects. Science professionals from the community will judge the projects, and ribbons will be awarded for excellence and effort. The Science Fair will then be open to families and friends on the evening of March 24th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Students are to design and carry out their science projects at home. Any student who is interested in doing a project should pick up a “Citrus Glen Science Fair” packet in the office. The science fair packet includes a project timeline, a list of project ideas (for inspiration), an outline of the “scientific method,” presentation (display) guidelines, and a project worksheet.
The parent coordinator for this year's Science Fair is Greg Sanders (659-3622). Please call Mr. Sanders with any questions you may have or if you are interested in volunteering.
