Residence Verification
Parents of new and continuing VUSD students are required to present 2 proofs of residence at the time of registration.  If a parent does not possess current proof or  contests documentation, please contact Administrative Support Services at 641-5000, ext 1102.

ACCEPTABLE residence verification documents include current:

Utility bills or hookup receipts
Escrow real-estate papers and/or current mortgage statement
Rental agreements with property management companies only (no personal owner to tenant agreements accepted)
Property tax statements
Bank statements
Pay stub
W-2 tax forms
US Postal Service-Change of Address postcard
County/State correspondence (i.e. Housing Authority, Human Services Agency, Employment Development Department, etc.)
Doctor/Hospital statement
Credit card statement
Auto insurance/registration/renewal

UNACCEPTABLE residence verification documents:

Rental payment receipt (if not a commercial management company)
Cellular phone statements
Driver's license
Personal check
Personal mail
