All is going extremely well with Cabrillo’s lunchtime sporting program. During the first semester of school, we had over 370 student participants involved in our first two sporting events, football and volleyball. The football champions are: (Legit Ligers) Madison Colletto, Matt Hantke, Alex Hecht, Alex Herbold, Kelly Lomagno, Jack Peterson, Kendall Slaught, and Brice Winans. The volleyball champions are: (Team Jacob) Tyler Cobian, Keaton Garibaldi, Hailey Gray, Jackson Klein, Kelly Lomagno, and Lindsey Lucas. We continue the year round intramural program with soccer being offered in the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter will have basketball as the final intramural sport for the year. We conclude the year with our annual pizza party in late May or early June. All participants of the intramural program are invited to a free pizza party. All PTO members or parental volunteers that would like to assist with this special day please contact Karl Mahler at 641-5155 x2090. Thank you to the Cabrillo PTO and staff for their continued encouragement and support for this program. A special thank you to all of our energetic students who willingly give up their lunch social time to participate and make this program so successful.
