Physical Education-Fit for Life
All students are required to take P.E. unless excused by a licensed physician. If your child is not able to participate (three days maximum), parents must send a note to the P.E. teacher explaining the reason. If for any reason your child will be out of P.E. for more than three days, he/she will need an excuse note from a licensed physician. Please note that students will still dress for P.E.
All students are required to bring a change of clothes for PE. There should be no logos on shirts, shorts or sweats. Cabrillo PE clothes are available for purchase in the student store. (Prices listed below)
» Cabrillo royal blue shorts $12.00
» Athletic shoes (not sold at the Student Store)
» Cabrillo P.E. shirt $ 8.00
» White athletic socks (not sold at the Student Store)
» Cabrillo sweatshirt $20.00
Sweatshirt/sweatpants are optional, but must meet guidelines. All P.E. clothes must be marked with the student's first and last name. Ask your P.E. teacher for guidelines.
Pre-sale dates for these items are August (between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.) in the cafeteria. If you do not buy P.E. clothes during the pre-sale dates, P.E. clothes will be sold during the regular school day at the Cabrillo Student Store window (on the east side of the administration building), the first week of school: before school (8:15-8:45), during lunch (12:30-1:00), and after school (3:00-3:30).
