Message From the Principal
Paul Jablonowski
We are very fortunate to be part of a campus rich in diversity and full of such talented students and dedicated staff. The parents, teachers, office staff and students fully deserve their fine reputation. The staff is a dedicated group who performs their work with pride and commitment. They believe that each child is unique and deserving of a rigorous and supportive academic environment. Many staff members have served on district committees, assuming leadership roles both on-site and district wide, and have participated in many workshops directly related to student success. Each student has access to a core curriculum in language arts, mathematics, science and social science. Teachers differentiate the curriculum when possible to meet the needs of the diverse student population.
We have, in addition to our 11 regular education classrooms, three Special Day Classes, five Open Classrooms (grades k - 8), and the K-8 Homestead Alternative Program. This allows us to provide many different types of learning opportunities. Blanche Reynolds also provides many extended learning opportunities in the form of in-school and after school interventions. There are services for our English Learners and GATE students, and we have additional programs (such as drama, intervention, SPARKS PE and technology) to meet the needs of our students.
We have an active PTA organization which supports many of our school's essential programs. Our outstanding support staff is dedicated to helping the school operate efficiently and helps to provide a safe place to enjoy learning.
Our goal at Blanche Reynolds is to positively impact the behavior and academic achievement of all our students. We provide a nurturing environment that facilitates students' success by providing opportunities for students to become responsible learners and fully develop the multitude of skills they will need to meet the changing needs of society.
It is our hope that your family will continue to work with us as we celebrate academic and personal growth. With academic expectations being higher than ever for our students, it is more important than ever that we collectively encourage them to do their best while at the same time allowing them the time and space to be children.
I look forward to a great year working with your student and your family. Feel free to phone me at 289-1817 if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Paul Jablonowski
