As our students’ needs have evolved, Ventura Unified School District has strived to stay ahead of the curve—offering rich and varied academic programming, remaining committed to the arts across the district, and ensuring our schools are healthy, green, and connected to the coast and our community. All of these initiatives are pointed toward a common goal: maintaining excellent schools and learning environments where all children can explore, grow, and thrive as students in a modern world and be well prepared for the future ahead of them.
Our district recently embarked on a brand development process which allowed us to look at what defines us, where we have been, and who we want to be through a process of introspection and conversation among our key stakeholders. This effort uncovered our strengths and unique attributes, which were not always apparent in past communications. Our new brand articulates and celebrates our differences and provides common language and a professional identity to unify our public schools.
In the coming weeks and months, you will notice a new look, new language, and exciting changes to the website and other communications to express a more modern and vibrant image.
